Payment & refund policy

Overview

This page sets out, in full, how cancellations, changes and refunds work for advertising placements booked with Loonfeather. It expands on the anchored sections of our Terms of Use.

Before a placement starts

You may cancel a confirmed booking at any time before creative material has been submitted and before the run date begins. Cancelling more than five business days before the confirmed start date is refunded in full. Cancelling within five business days of the start date may forfeit a portion of the deposit used to hold your production slot, since creative and scheduling work has typically already begun.

Once a placement has started

For the Neighbourhood Listing, once the 30-day listing has gone live it is not eligible for a partial refund, as the placement is a single continuous listing rather than a series of separate runs. For the Mirrored Mention Pair and Reflection Season Package, unused, not-yet-aired weeks of the run may be eligible for a partial refund calculated from the remaining run length.

How to request a change or refund

Write to [email protected] or call +1 514-934-2474 during Monday – Friday, 09:00–17:30, with your booking reference and the change you're requesting.

Processing times

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

Rescheduling instead of cancelling

Where our production schedule allows, we offer to move a placement to a later start date instead of cancelling it outright, at no extra charge.

If we cannot deliver a confirmed placement

If Loonfeather is unable to run a confirmed placement — for example due to a production or capacity issue on our side — we offer a full refund or a rebooking to a later date, at your choice.

Non-refundable items

A placement that has run in full, and any creative production work already completed at your specific request beyond fitting your own supplied material into our layout, are not refundable.
