Reporting Ville-Émard and Saint-Henri, in print and by ear
Loonfeather is a local news website and companion podcast covering Ville-Émard, Saint-Henri, Côte-Saint-Paul, Monk Boulevard and the Turcot corridor. We sell our own advertising directly — no agency, no middle step.
Every placement below runs above the waterline in print, or below it on the podcast — some run both at once. Full detail, including what each placement is built from, is on the advertising page.

Neighbourhood Listing
The listing
Your logo, a short description and a link, live on the community page for 30 days, with one update if your details change mid-run.
How it runs
This is a web placement with no host-read component; a monthly page-view count is shared so you can see how the listing performed.
Includes one update and a monthly page-view count.
Placements are booked in the order requests arrive. A Neighbourhood Listing can usually start within a few business days; the Mirrored Mention Pair and Reflection Season Package need more lead time, since podcast recording is scheduled around our regular episode calendar.
Creative — your logo, description or seasonal guide copy — is due five business days before a placement's start date. Creative sent after that date pushes the start date back rather than shortening the run.
Enquiries and creative are handled Monday – Friday, 09:00–17:30 (Eastern Time (ET) — Montreal). A message left outside those hours is answered the next business day.
Changes to a booking already in production — swapping the sidebar copy, moving a podcast read to a different week — are made where the schedule allows, by writing to [email protected].

Quick questions
A few things advertisers ask first
Do you sell placements directly, or through an agency?
Directly. Every placement on this site is booked and produced by Loonfeather; there is no third-party agency in between.
Can I book a placement without an audio component?
Yes — the Neighbourhood Listing is web-only. The Mirrored Mention Pair and Reflection Season Package both pair a web placement with podcast mentions.
What areas does Loonfeather actually cover?
Ville-Émard, Saint-Henri, Côte-Saint-Paul, Monk Boulevard and the Turcot corridor. Our registered address is on St. Patrick Street.
When a placement pairs a web format with a podcast mention, the same message is checked against both scripts before either goes out, so a reader who later hears the episode recognizes the same offer rather than a different version of it. Publication and recording dates are set together at confirmation, not adjusted separately afterward. This is a matter of internal process, not a promise about results — we describe what we produce and when, not what it will bring you.
Who advertises with us
Who a Loonfeather placement tends to fit
Most advertisers are independent businesses already known on the street — a café on Notre-Dame, a repair shop off Monk Boulevard, a cultural group that runs events around Côte-Saint-Paul — looking for a way to reach people who already read local coverage rather than a citywide audience. A Neighbourhood Listing suits a business that wants a simple, lasting presence; the paired formats suit one that wants the same message to land twice, once on the page and once in the ear.
Organizations planning something seasonal — a community event, a fundraiser, a series of workshops — are the usual fit for the Reflection Season Package, since its six-week run and partner-labelled article give a longer lead-in than a single ad could.
